The United States have supported Tunisia in the difficult time of Covid situation by sending equipment as donation to put in place tents in the fight against Covid as hospitals are getting full.
The Tunisia Minister of Health, Mr. Faouzi Mehdi, and US Ambassador in Tunisia, Mr. Donald Blome, visited one of the first field hospitals donated by the United States to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in Mongi.
The mobile, negative-pressure isolation hospitals offer 30 beds each and provide additional space for the safe testing, isolation, and treatment of patients with COVID-19 or other airborne infectious disease.
