Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my goods should be transported by a standard flatbed truck or a lowboy trailer?

You must check the weight and dimensions of your cargo. For standard flatbed trucks, the general rules are: Length 12m / Width 2.5m / Height 3m, with a weight not exceeding 30 tons. Beyond these figures, you should consider a lowboy (porte-char) or an extendable trailer if your cargo exceeds 14 meters in length.

Must goods be transported with their customs declarations?

Yes, absolutely. Authorities must know the origin of the goods during every check to ensure everything is in order.

What are your main destinations for road transport?

We operate regular routes connecting Tunisia to all of Europe (specifically France, Italy, and Germany) as well as strategic land corridors to Algeria and Libya.

Do you offer both Full Truck Load (FTL) and Less than Truck Load (LTL) services?

Yes. FTL (Full Truck Load) is perfect for large volumes requiring a dedicated vehicle and direct route. LTL (Less than Truck Load) or groupage allows you to share truck space, significantly reducing costs for smaller shipments.

Do you handle customs formalities at land borders?

Absolutely. As a licensed customs broker, we manage all transit documentation to ensure smooth crossings at the Algerian (Bouchebka, Hazoua) and Libyan (Ras Ajdir) borders.

Can I track my shipment during transit?

Yes, all vehicles are monitored. You can receive regular status updates and position reports by contacting your dedicated Mohab account manager.
